Prof Terry Humphreys: Dr. Humphreys is a Full Professor in the Department of Psychology at Trent University in Ontario, Canada. He is the Editor of the Canadian Journal of Human Sexuality (CJHS) and a Consulting Editor for the Journal of Sex Research. He is a Past President of the Society for the Scientific Study of Sexuality (SSSS), the Canadian Sex Research Forum (CSRF), and a long-standing planning committee member of the Guelph Sexuality Conference (Canada’s largest and longest running annual sexuality conference). His academic and research interests focus broadly on sexual communication in intimate relationships. Specifically, his expertise is in the negotiation of sexual consent in multiple contexts, sexting behaviour in young adults, first sexual experiences, and unwanted/coercive sexual encounters.
Louisa Essendi (Kenyan LGBTQIA Activist): Gigi Louisa, who identifies herself as a black, lesbian, queer, feminist, womxn is the Programs Officer at Jinsiangu, an Intersex, Transgender and Gender non-conforming organization in Kenya, after previously working with The Gay and Lesbian Coalition of Kenya. She also acts as the board chair to Rainbow Women and Minority Women in Action which are lesbian, bisexual and queer womxn’s organizations in Nairobi and Mombasa respectively. Gigi Louisa is an Alumni of HRAP at Columbia University, New York 2015, Sexuality and Leadership Fellowship, Lagos 2017 and CREA-SGRI 2018. She is a vocal voice and frontline activist in the Kenyan LGBTIQ+ movement.
Dr Eli Rosen: Dr Eli Rosen, Homeopath and highly experienced Sex Educator. Their focus is on promoting access to healthcare for all people through education of both the patient and healthcare provider. Dr Rosen is passionate about empowering teens with information on relationships and communication skills as well as scientific, accurate education on body function and sexual health. Dr Rosen lectures at university level on various topics related to sexual health, gender and sexuality. They are also a consultant to NPOs focusing on training healthcare providers in rural South Africa to provide safe and affirming health care services to marginalised communities.
