WPATH GEI Online Foundations Course in partnership with WAS2021

WPATH is excited to partner with the World Association for Sexual Health (WAS) to offer our WPATH GEI Online Foundations Course at a greatly reduced rate to attendees registered for the 25th Congress of the World Association for Sexual Health.

Registration is NOW OPEN for our Fall 2021 Foundations Course offering, with live sessions scheduled on Thursday, September 9, 2021.

The WPATH GEI Online Foundations Course includes the following components:

• Pre-Recorded Didactic Sessions, which attendees can stream upon registering
• One Live Case Discussion Panel (2-hours), on Thursday, September 9: 3:00pm – 5:00pm South Africa Standard Time (GMT+2); 9:00am – 11:00am Eastern Daylight Time (GMT-4)
• One Live Q&A Panel (2-hours), on Thursday, September 9: 6:00pm – 8:00pm South Africa Standard Time (GMT+2); 12:00pm – 2:00pm Eastern Daylight Time (GMT-4)

What to Expect:

Registered attendees will receive the link to access the GEI Foundations Course Platform within 24-48 hours of registering, to begin viewing the Pre-Recorded Didactic Sessions on-demand. Attendees can stream the Pre-Recorded Didactic Sessions through the Foundations Course Platform at their convenience prior to September 9th, to be prepared to participate live during the Live Case Discussion and Live Q&A Panels.

When you receive this link, you will be prompted to set up an Attendee profile that will be visible to all other Course attendees, Speakers, and Staff. The course is setup so that you have time to watch the recorded sessions in advance of attending the live panels, and we encourage you to do so, so that you are well prepared for those interactive sessions.

All materials for the GEI Foundations Course, including Faculty Bios, Handouts, PDF copy of the SOCv7, and Accreditation information, will be available through the Course Platform.

As an attendee benefit, you will have access to the Course Platform and all Foundations Course content through January 1, 2022.

This course fulfills the Foundations requirement for members pursuing the path to WPATH GEI SOC7 Certification.
