As you may know, the compliance for the Protection of Personal Information Act, 4 of 2013 (POPIA), took effect on Thursday, 1 July 2021. This deadline brings a few changes and one of these being our duty to inform you that you are currently subscribed to our email database to receive updates on all the latest SASHA events.

SASHA has voluntarily been complying with the POPIA Act since 2019, by allowing our users to control their communication preferences from us, we wish to provide you with a reminder that you may opt out of communication from us at any time.

Your data privacy is our main priority, and we remain committed to ensuring your personal information is processed using the highest data security standards that are in accordance with applicable laws.

We will continue to ensure that measures are in place to prevent loss of, damage to, or unauthorized destruction of your personal information. We will not give out your personal information to anyone without your consent.

You have the right to:

1. Request confirmation of what personal information our company holds on you.

2. Have your personal information updated or destroyed if it is incorrect, irrelevant, redundant, misleading, or unlawful.

3. Have any record of your personal information that is unnecessary for us to keep, removed.

By not unsubscribing, you agree to remain an opt-in recipient on our database to receive communications. No further action is required from you.
