A key to understanding the changing landscape of sexuality is understanding how COVID-19 fits into our conversations about sexually transmitted infections. Whilst the virus is not classified as an STI, Dr Rebe will help us understand how the virus operates and the implications for sexual health.

Francesca will be speaking on ‘Clinical reflection and opportunities for sex therapy in the pandemic time.’ We are privileged to have a professional from Italy to share her experiences with us, as Italy has already been through their peak of the pandemic, and we hope to learn from her as we prepare for ours.

Marion will be speaking about the ways in which access to abortion has been impacted by the pandemic in South Africa, as well as how sexual minority groups (LGBTQIA and sex workers) are being impacted.
